Seriously, I'm appalled at all of the hatred Muslims are getting in this thread. They did nothing wrong in this protest. They merely exercised their freedom of speech, which, last time I checked was something British subjects (and Canadian citizens, for the matter) still had.

All this talk of degrading them, dealing them great religious insults, deporting them, killing them... When does it stop? Once the "Muzzies" are gone, who next? The Jews? The blacks? The Catholics? How far will you go to get rid of those who don't agree with you?

The reasons the muslims are getting called out in this thread is because of how they act. You are correct in that they should be allowed to express free speech. However what you are not validating is that in Britain that use to be a only one way street. In which muslims would protest against the British military or even Britain and get nothing. When a couple average British citizens go to protest against what the muslims are protesting against. The police immidiatly shut it down or arrest them. I am assuming for fear of muslim retaliation which they are known to do which gets governments panties in a twist. Basic point here is that they are allowed to protest all the time and enjoy that freedom while when it comes to politics on muslim sensative subject. They are not allowed to counter protest and thus aren't getting there free speech.

Majority of the worlds conflicts today consist of having something to do with muslim countries or them in general. Wars of countries vs countries are pretty much a thing of a past, atleast for now. All you get is muslim terrorist this, muslim militia that or some random christian vs muslim genocide in Africa where both parties go genocide each other. Britain should have the right to stand up to this bullshit, they got it worse than anybody. They are under constant terrorist threat, who's the only ones outraged over this? Everybody who isn't muslim, what are muslims protesting on? The adoption of Sharia law in Britain which I believe they passed for all muslim citizens or coming into effect soon. They got muslim areas where generally a lot of muslim immigrates to. That's generally what they are called "muslim areas". Even stated in the article by one of those protestors they they thought it was in made taste they held a parade in a "muslim area". Why is this a important fact? There are a lot of British muslims who are infact hateful of British citizens and the country. They label these areas muslim areas for the simple fact they try and keep them that way. Anybody for example going to a corner store in one of these areas will most likely find themselves harassed and sometimes assaulted by some muslim youth for the simple crime of not being a muslim in this "muslim area". You'd think that would be a hate crime but no, they don't get called out upon or arrested or fined like any white or non-muslim British Citizen would if that was reserved.

They got these constant muslim political groups that are just complete ridiculous, some of these groups who even have known terrorist supporters going on record and making statements like Britain should be a muslim country and the royal family should be forced into adopting Islam and how they wanted to redo the royal palace, etc. Than how they wanted to kick out citizens who wern't muslims or diddn't convert. Suprisingly these people are not some small group, they do have a bit of large support from other British muslims. I could go on and on but I hope you get the point. The point being is that all they do in Britain is shit on everything, shit on all the citizens and protest for bullshit causes spreading hate, sometimes racism and inflicting violence without the government doing shit about it because it wouldn't be "PC". I am not suprised Britains would be fed up with that shit, I am also not suprised some people here would suggest such things as that's pretty much the same case in many western countries. Granted not all muslims are like this and majority aren't as idiotic, hateful or racist. However, they aren't being heard. Only those idiotic, hateful and racist muslims are heard. Always protesting action against muslim but never protesting muslims actions against us. They don't protest against the Taliban for killing many civilians on purpose or torturing some. They don't call those out, only the non-muslim soldiers who are there because the world got bombarded by muslim terrorists and is still being bombarded by them.

It's funny you should mention that since I know and have met several Muslims who outright condemned the attacks. They pretty much said: "great, now everyone's going to think all of us are like that. Jackasses."

I also know Muslims who don't wear the hijab. Le gasp! I also met this one really eccentric Muslim a few days ago who advocated the elimination of Israel AND Palestine and he wanted to start over in the region. That was a shocker to me. Maybe it's you, but my interactions with Muslims has been nothing but good. Not all Muslims want to kill you and/or convert you to their old-world ways. To profess such ridiculousness doesn't help either side of this growing confrontation.

The hatred is apparent. What we do to solve the hatred will be a key factor in how we all move on.

Clearly something has to change.

It's the Pakistanis, Afghanis, Somalis, etc. These areas have never had a culture of any kind in recent memory. The Iraqis and the Iranians, on the other hand, flourished just a short time ago.

I`m all for limiting immigration from violent countries. England, France and the Netherlands let to many in, and now their culture is threatened.
