I had a similar thing happen in my house once only it was a big tom cat and it was actually standing on the bathroom wall at one point.

Size doesn't matter. Leave a cardboard box around, and you've set a cat trap.







I might have been crazy too and used welding gloves and a welding smock to try to free the cat, instead of broomhandles. Just to get close to such a magnificent creature is worth the personal harm!
