The Dogwood Initiative can go blow it out their asses. I'm for drilling on the west coast and if they on't like it, they can lobby their politicians, just like I am.
In the proven method of sloothing, follow the money. Who's paying for these jerks to do this?

I've never understood that "no defacing the coins" law. It's my money, if I want to deface it and render it useless that's my choice.

Who hasn't put a penny on the tracks? And what about those penny-stamping machines for the tourists?

I always wondered if those were actually pennies, or just slices of copper already in the machine...I don't think they'd be able to get exceptions against the law for those machines, and well, even if the machine has a lot of pressing power, I have doubts it can do it so quickly

Defacing is not destroying.

And it is one thing to destroy a piece of money,
something else to deface it and continue to try and circulate it.

Just a publicity stunt.

I wonder if this retard understands that he is using a petroleum based product (i.e. his vinyl stickers) to protest the petroleum industry.

Good thing he doesn't work for PETA or they would have leather signage hanging from ivory posts.

lmao

Retailers, actually anyone, can refuse to accept any of these coins just as they would if a wad of bubblegum was stuck to it.

It would cost them more to use raw copper than the penny you put in.
Pennies are pretty soft. You can cut one with a good pair of scissors.

They say "American Penny only." This is because our pennies are made of some crushable alloy while American pennies are solid copper.

Ride me boy, take a deep breath, real deep, and exhale slowly. Then reach deep inside yourself and find a little chuckle. Try to concentrate on the chuckle, making it grow. That's good, very good. Now, don't you feel better? :D

They circulate official coins that look like a drunken six year old with a box of crayons designed them, and people are getting mad about a stupid sticker? :D
