Is this an actual news story? Or is it just a page from their blog?

Sea Shepard should go investigate ome whailing out by the Somoli coast or maybe the French atomic bomb testing sites. Maybe then it would be newsworthy.

I have no love whatsoever for whalers. Those Japanese ships could sink and I wouldn't shed a tear. However if the envirowhackos want to lob acid onto ships at sea then they better be prepared to reap what they sow. I don't know how a supposed "research vessel" would obtain the type of weapon they're claiming was used.

Ditto. But the 'acid' is not particularly bad. It basically is rotten butter. It reeks, and is quite slippery on a steel or wood deck.

Well, since it's a 'military grade' AP weapon, I would guess from the military. Or Celine leftovers from Vegas.

It's not without precedent if it were a military weapon. Last year the Whaler had armed Coast Guard personnel on board.

"Sea Shepherd's strategy is to keep the whaling fleet on the move. If they are running they are not killing whales and no whales have been killed during the last 24 hours. In fact the Steve Irwin crew were excited to see Fin whales swimming alongside the ship as they pursued the whaling fleet." XD
