Spectacular full Beaver Moon rises one day shy of being super this weekend

A full Beaver Moon will light up the weekend skies starting Thursday night, shining at its fullest, most luminous glow by Friday at 10:22 pm PT, and continuing through to Sunday.

Looking out the window right now and it is a beautifully bright moon! Just enough gap between the clouds for a good view.

Last night we were looking at this bright light in the sky trying to figure out what it was.
Turned out to be a hole in the overcast clouds, suddenly there was the moon, surrounded by a massive halo. Then the clouds covered it up again a few seconds later.
