Brenda Martin, held in a Mexican prison for over two years on fraud charges, burst into tears at her final hearing Monday after the judge said he wouldn't guarantee a ruling in her case by Friday.

So you think she is innocent and has to hear about her ruling Friday?

(just trying to figure out where you stand on this...)

She's miss-represented herself from day one.
She worked in Mexico for a decade without papers and admitted that he was afraid of the Mexican authorities for that very reason.
She is a fool for trying to tell us that she had no idea that her boss was a crook and I won't even go into her life in prison sob-stories.

well I dont know if she is guilty or not ..but even terrorists are getting a better deal at representation from Canada.. I have been to Mexico severl times. no problems but I have heard horror stories about how some people get duped and it ends up costing mega bucks for families to get the out..
there have been several screw ups in this case including some of her own. but I still feel as a Canadian she deserves some help from our government..

Whats sad is the mountains and mountains of evidence they have that says shes guilty.
Want to bet she writes a book or go's for a movie deal? She's a terrible actor and I lost any sympathy I may have had for her a long time ago.

Good to see the Mexican judge is getting tired of her shit, they sure wouldnt put up with that in Canadian court.

Even when she lived there for 10 years? (Or how long was it...) and not paying taxes here? Basicly, she emigrated...

I have mixed feelings about it... She fucked up, she KNEW, and now she wants everybody to bail her out...

Then again... What should the government do? They can only have "diplomatic talks", and that won't speed up her process. It has only been 2 years for her, and within 5 weeks, she knows her fate.

They offered her the standard package they do to some criminals in Mexico that allows her to spend her jail time in Canada, she refused to meet with them.

You had to watch her episode on the news last night (CTV)
She was ok after they gave her an injection.

They must of had a pickup truck full of papers(evidence) against her.

problem with bleeding hearts is that they are unable to provide enough blood for the brain to work properly. This broad is nuckin futz...'they gave me an injection, I'm better now.' The judge has 30 working days and her crocodile tears shouldn't sway him. By the sounds of things she was having fun in prison, entering beauty contests and such.
