    It seems like spring comes earlier and earlier in Edmonton every year...+5 tomorrow. Strange weather for February, nevermind the rain we had in late January...still, I'm not complaining one bit.

    It's true though, that in that part of Europe, snow is not common. So no (or not enough) plows to plow the roads or salt them.
    2 cms just paralizes a whole country, let alone what 10 cms does to a city. Here in Canada, we roll our eyes and move on, but there... Its just not built for snow. It's built for rain...

    Remember what happened when the Lower Mainland got a dump? This is even worse... They just don't know what to do. At least in the LM, they do (sorta :twisted:)
