    A dose of reality maybe.

    To most people who can either read, or at a minimum turn on a television, this shouldn't come as a big suprise, since this was his platform when he was campaigning for the Democratic Leadership.

    I guess it's easier to believe that the world is perfect, and you're part of history, than to face the reality that you've duped by the media's less than subtle attempt to brand him as the next JFK.

    Jack has a solution,start a trade war. :roll:

    Some people might think Obama runs the show but protectionest measures will hurt the states just as much if not more then other countries.Im sure some of the big unions will try and play him but I dont think he's that stupid to be manipulated.

    So far it was electioneering,when he starts breaking NAFTA then I'll get worried.
    They benefit from NAFTA as much as we do if not more.

    Seems the only peeps claiming Osama is a messiah are the ones that are pissed he got in.

    another reason for the dippers to NEVER be elected into government :roll:

    Hope there are some smarter people in the Senate, who will get the
    protectionist clauses out.

    No one claims the stimulus package will actually work.
    Introducing protectionist clauses will make damn sure it doesnt.

    Well well well,Obama is going to make some statements about rewording the stimulas package because the last thing he wants to do is send the message to their trading partners that he will start a trade war.

    Even the Financial Post is getting in on the act, posting crap from the CAW prez;

    Now the U.S. government is tying its stimulus plan to the recovery in the manufacturing base. Our government should get off its high horse and figure out how to do the same thing here.
