THIS is the amazing image which could show the fabled sunken city of Atlantis. It shows a perfect rectangle the size of Wales lying on the bed of the Atlantic Ocean nearly 3 miles down.

Situated in an area called the Madeira Abyssal Plane

Here's a good reason why it couldn't be the remains of an ancient civilization. It is 5 440 m down and even during the height of the last Ice Age, it was still under more than 5.1 km of water.

In the traditional account of Atlantis the city is circle shape.

Atlantis as a people is most like the Minoans on Crete. They reached a level that woulds seem to the Greeks to be miles ahead. As a land mass it could be any number of smaller islands. Some of which were saw people destroyed by nature occurrences.

Much like Homer, the account of Atlantis is a mix of hundreds of years of history and stories. Covering Minoan, Mycenaean, dark-age and early classical Greece.

    Say what?

Plato cooked up Atlantis all on his own. That's it. There's no mix of history involved. Besides, your list of histories which were involved don't include Egypt...where Plato said Socrates got the idea to begin.

That's weird, I just posted about the fact that I do believe Atlantis existed and that someday we will find proof. Not sure about this one way or another, but it was a neat coincidence.

Oh my God! Maybe CSIS was monitoring your deep-brain probes, realized you were thinking about a mythical island (and not the one from Lost, that's clearly in the Pacific Ocean, thank you very much Mrs. Hawking's cool floor-map!) and then got Rogers, the RCMP, President Obama and three circus midgets to whip up a story about blank sea bed readings to convince you were right all in a hoary conspiracy to further falsely prove to the world you're bat-shit insane.

    Those crafty bastards.

Try reading Plato the next time you're waiting at the free clinic.

You're weird. Atlantis didn't exist. Not Plato's at any rate. It's fun for the Internet crowd, but like your sanity, it's a myth.

Also in the ultra-crappy Sega CD game Night Trap. The biggest problem with that game was that there was only one route you needed to follow from room to room to win the game.

    And the load times blew.
