PANJWAII DISTRICT, Afghanistan - The Canadian military has put some distance between itself and its allies over the mismanagement of weapons donated to the Afghan army as concern mounts that some arms may have fallen into the hands of Taliban militants.

In any conflict, your weapons will find their way to the other side. Atleast we know exactly what our weapons are capable fo doing and know what is needed to defeat them. They are also far more maintinence and service intensive than Russian and old Soviet-era personal weapons, which the enemy does not have the kit or the knowhow or the patience to deal with. I'd like to see some raghead have the patience to try and clean a C-7 after it gums up due to being dirty and dusty.
