TORONTO ï¿½ A motorist was shot dead in Toronto early Monday after police said he drove at officers, injuring one who was attempting to stop his car.

The headlines should have read "Motorist tried to kill Toronto police, but they killed him first!" The other headline's make one assume that the police did something they should not have.
