This doesn't suprise me at all. Dogs are man's best friend. What hurts is than man is not always Dog's best friend.

The Urness family said they found Cooper when he was a puppy on the side of a road.
Everything happens for a reason... he was there waiting to be found by them because he was meant to be a member of their family.
A wonderful ending to this story.

A cat would snuggle up to the child too......only so it could stay warm and dry.

The cat would squat on the kids chest or face, potentially suffocating them.
I've had a cat for the last six or seven years. Low maintenance animals, but they really are assholes.
